      Hello Kevin
Thank you for your enquiry and interest in learning to fly. We teach a UK National pilots licence based on the European EASA syllabus. You are required to demonstrate you have achieved a minimum of 45 flying hours made up for both dual and solo flying. We are finding that most students have spent about £12,000 by the time they get their licence. Most students that fly regularly take between 12 -24 months to gain their PPL.

The course is made up learning the effects of control of the aircraft, circuits, navigation and land away’s to other airfields and although achievable in 45 hours please note an instructor will not put you forward for test unless he feels you are safe and competent to pass your skill test.

You will sit 9 on line exams in aviation related subjects plus a radio paractical exam and be able to pass an Aviation medical before any solo flying.

Why not come along and have a no obligation flight experience lesson, where you will have hands on experience in our dual controlled aircraft. You can ask as many questions as you like and if you like the feel and atmosphere of our club you will be welcome to become a member.

The flight experience lessons options are below:

      2 seater aircraft ½ hour £140.00
      2 seater aircraft ¾ hour £185.00
      2 seater aircraft 1 hour £230.00

      4 seater aircraft ½ hour £155.00
      4 seater aircraft ¾ hour £205.00
      4 seater aircraft 1 hour £265.00

Should you weigh more than 88kg you would need to fly in the 4 seat C172, that also gives you the option of a friend or relative to enjoy the experience with you from the passenger seat in the rear of the aircraft.

If you have any other questions or would like to book a flight experience lesson please phone Seawing on 01702 545420 we are open 9.00-17.00hrs 7 days a week.

We look forward to your call.

      Kindest regards

      Operations Team
